This route begins near the hamlet of Mabia, which can be visited either at the beginning or at the end of the walk. The trail runs through Monte da Valga, along tracks and paths that cross areas of low scrubland with wide panoramic views.
This route acts as a link between the Curro da Valga Route and the Muíños do Calán Route. It is possible to reach either of these two points by following the signs along the way.
The Senderos da Valga are signposted in both directions, so the routes can be combined in different ways.
The circular route forming the perimeter of the three trails covers 16.1 km and takes visitors through woodlands, wetlands and streams, from the depths of the valley to the highest areas, even allowing clear views of the mouth of the River Miño as it flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
